Overview

CustomNotify ("the App") is developed and maintained by CustomApps LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application, available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store), and our website at customnotify.us.

In short: we do not collect any personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

CustomNotify does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, we do not gather:

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash reports
  • Location or GPS data
  • Device identifiers, IDFA, GAID, or advertising IDs
  • Contacts, photos, or other on-device data
  • Notification content, schedules, or templates you create
  • IP addresses or browsing history

Our Apple App Store privacy label reflects this: "Data Not Collected."

How Your Data Is Stored

All data you create in the App — including notifications, schedules, templates, preferences, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

You may optionally export your data as a JSON file from the App’s Settings screen. Exported files are saved to your device and are not transmitted to us.

Third-Party Services

CustomNotify uses the following third-party service:

  • RevenueCat— manages in-app subscription purchases. RevenueCat processes transactions through Apple’s App Store and Google Play’s billing systems. RevenueCat may receive a transaction identifier and subscription status from the platform, but does not receive any personal information from CustomNotify. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any other third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media trackers.

Notifications & Permissions

CustomNotify requests permission to send local push notifications. This is a core feature of the App. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using the operating system’s notification APIs. No notification content is transmitted off your device.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other device sensors or data.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, cookies, or advertising frameworks. We do not collect crash reports or usage statistics. Your usage of the App is completely private and unmonitored.

In-App Purchases

CustomNotify offers an optional premium subscription ($0.99/month) with a 3-day free trial. All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not receive or store your payment details, credit card number, or billing address. Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled through your device’s app store settings.

GDPR Compliance (European Users)

Because we do not collect any personal data, CustomNotify is fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). There is no data to access, rectify, delete, or port because no data is collected. If you have questions about your rights under the GDPR, contact us at the email below.

CCPA Compliance (California Users)

CustomNotify complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information as defined under the CCPA. California residents have the right to request disclosure of data practices — this policy serves as that disclosure.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

CustomNotify is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Since we collect no data from any user, this policy applies equally to all ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, your data is protected by your device’s built-in security features (passcode, biometrics, encryption). We recommend keeping your device’s operating system up to date for the best security.

Data Retention & Deletion

We do not retain any user data. All App data is stored on your device. To delete all CustomNotify data, simply uninstall the App. You can also clear individual notifications and templates from within the App at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
